At school – Fill out the permission slip to create your Parent Portal account and make sure to provide a valid email address. Once the Portal Team processes your permission slip, you will receive an email that contains a link that you must click in order to activate your account. A second email will be sent in the following 15-20 minutes that contains your username and password. Login by visiting https://myportal.dpsk12.org and use the username and password provided in the email.
Online – Visit https://myportal.dpsk12.org and click “Create Account.” Fill out the online form to request your new Parent Portal account. Someone from the portal team will contact you over the phone within seven business days to verify your guardianship and set up your new Parent Portal account.
If you have a current Infinite Campus username and password, you may login to the DPS Parent Portal using those credentials. Infinite Campus users will need to validate their email and set up security questions and answers before proceeding to the DPS Parent Portal.
Students: If you attend one of the DPS schools, there is no need to create an account. Students use their DPS credentials to login; typically student ID and date of birth.
When I go to login to my DPS Parent Portal account, it asks me for my username. I never received a username.
Students: No, students are not required to have an email address in order to get a DPS Student Portal account.
