East HS Shadowing Program

The website will go live on Monday, August 31st at 8am, and appointments are limited.   If you are unable to get a shadowing appointment, there will be a group tour on Thursday, December 10th beginning in the Auditorium at 7:30AM.

Students signed up for the Shadowing Program will be assigned an approved Student Ambassador. Due to the volume of students in the Shadowing Program requests for Student Ambassadors will not be taken. If you have questions please email; Stacy_Geyer@dpsk12.org

Smart Parenting: Reducing Conflict

Sometimes being a parent seems impossible. This 6-week series for parents and caregivers of teens is designed to help parents learn and practice communication skills to assist in talking with their children, dealing with difficult behaviors, and avoiding or lessening conflict while nurturing a strong parent-child relationship.   • Build your child’s self-confidence
  • Replace fighting with cooperation
  • Learn why children misbehave and how to use redirection skills
  • Become a happier, calmer parent

Parents and children that have problem-solving skills are better able to come to win-win solutions and gain communication skills that can be useful in these sometimes difficult years.
