STEMScience, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)

Hill Campus of Arts & Sciences has partner with Project Lead the Way to offer STEM classes in all grade levels. Middle school is the perfect time for students to explore and learn that there is more than one way to reach a solution. PLTW Gateway provides engineering and biomedical science curriculum for middle school students that challenges, inspires, and offers schools variety and flexibility. Students get rigorous and relevant experiences through activity-, project-, and problem-based learning. They use industry-leading technology to solve problems while gaining skills in communication, collaboration, critical-thinking, and creativity.

DPS is committed to helping all of our families find the school that’s the right fit for their child. For most families, that should be and will be their neighborhood school, and we encourage every family to start with their neighborhood school. Hill is eager to serve the needs of its neighborhood students and meet your desire for an outstanding education for your child, right in your own neighborhood. Students that commit to Hill as their number one school of choice for middle school will be guaranteed one of the 100 slots in our STEM program.  The choice process opens for round one on December 15 and closes on January 30.  If you list Hill as your number one preference on your SchoolChoice form and are interested in having your child enrolled in our STEM program, please complete the following form with your child.
