Travel the World

Students at HCAS have the opportunity to expand their horizons on three incredible trips in the summer of 2020. We are excited to announce our summer trips to Italy/Greece, Costa Rica and China.

Costa Rica

Students will head to Costa Rica to immerse themselves in Spanish Language for 10 days. Students on this trip will not only be speaking with natives and practicing their Spanish within the communities that they visit in Costa Rica. They will also learn about sustainability initiatives and projects, learn about wildlife, the country’s diversity and dive into Costa Rican history.

CHINA

Students have the opportunity to attend an 11 day excursion through China. On this trip students will see the cities of Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai and Hong Kong. This is the perfect trip for students who are looking to visit historical sights like the Summer Palace and the Great Wall of China. This trip will also introduce students to the history of international trade with China through a visit to the Shanghai World Financial Center and guided tours of Hong Kong. This is an opportunity to consume Chinese culture from its history to its cuisine.

ITALY/GREECE

Lastly, a group of students will attend an 15 day adventure through Italy and Greece. Students will engage in discussions on democracy and government, visit some of the oldest historical sights of the West and partake in a 3 day Greek isles tour. In Venice students will see gondolas travel down the canal as they head to St. Mark’s Square. They will visit the Vatican, the Colosseum and the Roman forum in Rome. They will Explore the ruins of Pompeii and the Sorrento region with incredible sea views before embarking on an overnight ferry to Greece and much more.
