Feeling a little handy? We would love the help of 1-2 parent volunteers to put together 2 standing desks and 3 teacher chairs on Wednesday, Sep 9, anytime between 9am-3pm. The items are straightforward, with all directions and hardware included. The project would take 1-2 hours. If you are able to help, please email Ms. Liz at liz_muth@dpsk12.net.
Donate a Microwave to the Hill’s Cafeteria!
We have many students that use a microwave at lunch to warm up food from home. We treat the machines well, but are down to one working microwave in the cafeteria. If you are able to donate a new or used microwave please drop it to the main office.
Yearbooks are currently 10% OFF!
Yearbooks for the 2026-2027 school year, purchased between now and October 30th, will receive an automatic 10% discount. You can order your yearbook online using this link.
Our goal this year is that every 8th grade student receives a yearbook. If you would like to donate a yearbook to an 8th grader, scroll to the bottom of the page and select “donate” prior to payment.

Hill Travel Club
Many of you saw last night that we are headed to Scotland and Ireland this summer!
BUT if you haven't heard–
Mr. Van Horn, Ms. Liz and Ms. Redmond are headed to Scotland and Ireland with our Hill students and enrollment for our trip is now open, but it's filling up fast--we have 8 spots remaining!

MLE DAC Meeting
Join us for the Multilingual Education (MLE) District Advisory Committee (DAC) on Sept.16 from 5-7 p.m, at West High School. Topics covered include, an introduction to the MLE DAC, the Strategic Roadmap Refresh and the new Personal Communication Device Policy. Dinner, childcare and interpretation will be available. Event flyers in the eight most common DPS languages are available. Attendees are encouraged to pre-register.
