Parents and students are now able to access Standards Based Grades for Quarter 1 which ended on October 13. Physical report cards will not be sent to families. Here are two guides If you need help with accessing your Parent Portal Account, and grades through Schoology.
If you were unable to attend conferences to sign up to have your child’s CMAS report sent home, please email Jennifer I at jennifer_i@dpsk12.net. We will be sending score reports home next week. If you prefer, you can always just access the CMAS score report in the Parent Portal.
In honor of Domestic Violence month, The Hill Choir and Leadership Class are hosting #talk2someone. It is an event where survivors of domestic violence survivors will share their stories and contribute to our understanding of why Healthy Relationships are important. Attendees are encouraged to donate money to help survivors of domestic violence get out of abusive relationships and to donate to organizations that stop domestic violence. Everyone is welcome to come!
Following our Dia De Los Muertos celebration, we will be holding our first PAC Meeting for our Multilingual learners. Join us on November 2, from 2-3 pm in room 112 for our first PAC meeting. We will be sharing important information about our MLE program and resources for families.
Students are welcome to wear their costumes in celebration of Halloween. In order to ensure a fun and safe day for all students, we ask that accessories (masks that cover the full head, fake weapons, fake blood, etc.) are left at home. Masks and props that are brought to school will be held in the main office until the end of the day.
Earn community service hours by volunteering at Palmer Elementary Trunk or Treat!
Use the sign-up below and Palmer staff will contact you with details. On the day of the event, be sure they sign your community service form. Give the completed form to Director Turner at Hill to get credit for the hours.

WE’RE MAKING A BIG CHANGE THIS YEAR!
We are excited to announce the kick off the Hill PTSA Annual Fund and WE NEED YOUR HELP!
In lieu of our usual Spring Auction, our Annual Fund is a year-long direct donation campaign and will be our only primary fundraiser. To reach our goal of $65,000 and continue to support important programs at Hill, our suggested annual donation amount is $100 per student. Details: You’re invited to join the Hill Arts teachers, Mrs. Novy, Mr. Runyan, Ms. Ollie and Mrs. Warpinsky, to enjoy light appetizers and a drink with our Hill Arts Community. Student art will be showcased on custom made wine bottle labels from Ms. Novy’s art class. We hope to see you there!

Los estudiantes pueden usar sus disfraces para celebrar Halloween. Para garantizar un día divertido y seguro para todos los estudiantes, pedimos que los accesorios (máscaras que cubran toda la cabeza, armas falsas, sangre falsa, etc.) se dejen en casa.
