Writers wanted! If you enjoy ELA class, have interest in non-fiction writing, and/or are a little bit nosey – we need you to write for our new online school newspaper.

Anime Club 2025 is kicking off Wednesday, September 10th in room #303 after school from 4pm to 5:30pm! Join your friends in watching your favorite anime, playing games, and discussing anime and Japanese culture. The first meeting will include ‘Guess That Anime’ and snacks imported from Japan!
We have been building out a wonderful teacher workspace for teacher development, coaching and collaboration on the 3rd floor. This is used for teams to engage in learning and plan together on teacher workdays and district learning days. We are wondering if there are 2 Hill families with a treadmill they are no longer using who would be willing to donate this item to our teacher workroom. If you have a treadmill ready for donation, please email Principal Williams @ sonia_williams@dpsk12.net.
Wednesday, Sep 24, 5:15-6:30pm will be the next Principal Advisory Committee meeting. This committee is open to all current Hill families and we hope you attend! Ms. Williams will conduct one meeting each quarter with a different topic of focus.
Did you know that most high schools allow 8th grade students to shadow for a day in order to determine which school is best for them? All 8th grade students will have to complete Round 1 School Choice in December 2025 to select their high school and if your student wants a shadow day you should arrange it with the high school directly.
Only 10 spots left!
Join Mr. Van Horn, Director Turner, Ms. Liz and Ms. Redmond summer 2026 for our student trip to Costa Rica! Please visit our enrollment webpage to sign up for the trip. Check out the itinerary here!
